I think this truck qualifies as spec'd out.

Must be a reason for getting rid of it. The rates for hauling cold air must of hit rock bottom.

That be the truck I'd be wanna driving if I was to drive into my retirement years. Just cruise around empty or enough to pay for fuel, food and pleasures and wave my one fingered hand out the window saying *%ck the world.

I'm guessing what they haul, there are black sedans always somewhere in the distance.

    I'd take it in a heartbeat.:biggrin_25514:

You do know that not every load has to be 40,000# There are alot of specialized that pay alot better than a a 40,000# $1.10 a mile load.:biggrin_2559:

    I just dropped of a 13,000# load last night that paid $3.25 a mile.:biggrin_25514:

I think that truck belonged to a A&E team for Landstar seems like I remember seeing them when I was on with Landstar..

A&E stands for arms and exposives for those you that are bashing on the truck and why its spec'd the way it is, it was done for a reason..

I could be wrong, but the spec's say C15 with 600hp, It was my understanding that the 600hp was a C16, or perhaps the owner had the motor amp'd up to a 600hp, ether way, nice truck, If I could afford it, It would be mine

problem is A&E is not around as much as it was before 9-11

Also, i have a friend who does A&E with his wife in a 86" studio KW. Loads pay the same as the one's thig guy was hauling and they paid only $135k for their truck new.

This truck was spec'd this way cuz the owners had pipe dreams and had to try to be the best of the best on a potato budget!

    Gasienica and 07-379Pete Thank this.
