Starting prime November 1st

Congrats and I'm sure prime can keep u busy

 

I hear Prime has good freight to keep you busy.. I also hear they are a great company.. You will however hear the same ole people complaining about every company out there so don't get discouraged.. I myself was going to go with swift before my wife decided for me that she doesn't want me gone so much so either I need to look for something local or stay where I am in logistics.. for you with limited family, this will work well for you!

 

I've been told and have seen that the freight is good here I haven't done a lot of sitting wife I've started and thats how u make money by running truckersmooth i hope you find something soon

50Willy, I will be starting orientation a week before you. I don't think I will be there when you come in but maybe we will meet on the road. Good Luck with your transition into trucking. Prime is a very big company and from what research I have done on the big companies out there they are one of the best. The drivers at Prime seem to keep this forum pretty active and post here quite frequently so just keep coming back and keep reading.

Welcome aboard. Trucking can be fun and exciting, its what you make of it. I have 7 years under my belt and I'm going to orientation on the week of the 24th. If you have any questions about the industrydont hesitate to ask. Hope you enjoy and again welcome aboard.

 

why dont u use vacation or leave time for as long as you can just incase something happens.when i decide to go i'll try to use a months vacation and if my work says no a months to long then i'll try to use 2 or 3 weeks,that way there i have a job to go back to if something happened in the first month.
