Ummm Hello: it's in the parking lot of corporate! LOL
-
Was going to get ice cream today, but I think the owners would frown on me breaking down the door. I guess they don't believe in ice cream in the fall or winter up here.

Nice little town, but I sure would like to get rolling again. Were thinking that we should be out of here by 1 or 2 tomorrow and be able to get on down the road before it gets to late. Were trying to avoid running 3 shift if we can help it. -
Drive training day 4..... Still sitting waiting patiently for Monday morning to get here and get the windshield fixed. Got to meet Mike Millis today. He was over here unloading his sons race truck. Nice guy! I guess I'll get to meet all the office folks tomorrow. Until tomorrow.....Be safe!

Drive training day 5...... We had some bad luck and good luck today. Got the windshield fixed and put the truck in the shop while the windshield glue setup and had a B service done. At first they told us we had to go to Madison and get our slack adjuster fixed under warranty. Mark talked to them and they went ahead and fixed it at the shop instead. Also they fixed a couple of other things today. We finally rolled out of BFR at about 3:30 this afternoon. We to La Crosse and picked up a beer load at City Brewery and were headed to Kinsington, Pa. Stopped in Madison at the T/A for some shut eye. I got to drive all the miles today, plus got to go on a wild goose chase for a trailer that we never did find. Got back to the brewery and waited about 30 minutes and we were loaded. I think were total weight of 75k. Couple of firsts: I got to dock and that went good (lots of room there), strap a beer load, slide tandems back and up and of course haul one of the famed Millis beer loads. All went well with everything this afternoon. Having a blast with my trainer. I think Mark is going to let me run the rest of the way tomorrow. Planning on stopping in Youngstown tomorrow night at the T/A. It is only an 1 hour from our delivery. Good nite and be safe.

You should call recruiting and ask. That's your best place to get answers for that question.

Driver Training Day 6.......Started out my day from where I finished last night at the T/A in Madison, WI. Mark my trainer let me run today. I ran 552 miles in the sun shine, over cast, rain, dark and dark with rain. We stopped about 80 plus miles from Youngstown, Oh for a bathroom break and while I was waiting on Mark to get back I checked my load and did a walk around the truck. Found one of the tires on the trailer had a chunk missing from the center part of the tire. We made it on in to the T/A and got to new tires for the trailer. Sure glad I caught that. Had some excitement today on the drive to Youngstown. I was in the right lane when a tanker started to merge on to the highway. I checked my mirrors and another truck behind me shot around about the time I started to get over. I was stuck in the right lane and the tanker ran out of merge lane before I could get by him. Lucky for us that he saw us and stayed straight and used the emergency lane. That will get your blood pumping. Other than those two items not much to report today. Had a good drive. My shifting is getting better everyday and also my backing. Did a 45 alley dock at the T/A in the dark with slanted parking spaces. Not sure who thought that 45 degree parking slots was a good idea. I'm sure they have their reasons for those. Time to crash tonight. We have a 9 to 3 delivery window and were only an hour away. So were going to be there about an hour early and hopefully when we get rid of this load "Next Day Jay" will have us another good load waiting. Until tomorrow....Be safe!
