Temps dropped below freezing last night, leases all went from mud to solid for the first time since May. Everyone went from 2 - 3 loads a day to 6 and the hot oiler is booked 24-7.
Look out, the patch is gonna start moving....

Nice pics! Can you describe what you do up there? What is that truck loaded with? Do you load it yourself? Any info would be appreciated.

Yea its been colder at night but warms right up in the day.

Lots of frost in Whitecourt this morning. It rained for a few minutes on the simmonette. It's busy now! Once it freezes bang on to your hat! It's going to be another crazy winter. Bring it on!
-
are you serious longwalker?
I pick up stuff in one spot and drive it to another. I load it myself as no-one else is willing to stand by the riser while I pump
the nature of the stuff changes hourly, as to what it looks like my employer frowns at the idea of spilling it on the ground to get a closer look.
for the most part I pick it up in mudholes and deliver it to bigger mudholes. Then winter comes and everything drops to -30 c and I deliver between ice rinks.
The large torch behind me is called a flare. Thats where they try to burn off the majority of the extremely poisonous gasses the stuff I pick up exude. What doesn't go there instead comes out my truck vent and leaves me with an exquisite cologne of rotten eggs and sometimes a headache.. as in saskatchewan the wind always shifts so you are downwind of a vent.
Fortunately this scent attracts women in alberta who equate it with large amounts of income. Unfortunatly I don't live in Alberta.
Any other info I can provide feel free to ask!
hup Thanks this. -
Good description lol.

So what are the odds of getting a scented woman in Alberta? One could guess that the odds are good but the goods are odd.
