Well I finally made the decision to go with Schneider Tanker Division. I report next Friday, April 29 in Dallas for orientation. I'm a recent graduate, and the decision was really hard; so many companies to choose from. Does anybody have feedback on my decision. I'm going OTR. They quoted 42,000-44,000 1st year. Starts .32 6mo.34 1yr .38. Also anybody out there been through this training?:biggrin_25520:

I'm with SNI's van division, so take what I have to say with a grain of salt.

I personally that the 42-44k may be a bit high, but their bulk division is pretty strong, so you may very well be able to do it.

You should get good, solid training. It's still one of the things the pumpkin still does well. Hopefully, some others will be along and chime in with more and better information than I have.

Good luck to you, and be safe!

The pay is very reasonable, if you are willing to run. We are making about 5% less running local 4 days a week for SNI. When I was running on the road, I outperformed the pay range they were advertising.

I started with schneider back in 2006. I went through their school, and found out less than three months out with them how bad they were breaking their own contract. I didn't get anywhere near the 2500 miles they contracted me or the .28 mile they contracted me.

I don't know how their tanker division is, but I wish you better luck than what I had

Schneider is offering this load for $500 from Bridgeville DE to Clifton NJ (Tolls and Traffic) Mike thinks thats a good paying load. If some one want to work for free, jump on it.

If you learn the mcp200 and what macros keep you running and when to send them and are willing to run you can make that type of money if you have a good DBL. Welcome to the Pumpkin.
