A guy in Manitoba just bought 7 new pet gliders the dealer also brought in 3 for stock

08s are gone, but we were not going to pull the emissions on 200 trucks
! Calf wanted em bad!!! They can have them! Got 20 k more than freight
Liners buy back program said they were worth! Personaly if you tried
To give me one i would turn it down! What you think drove cat out
Of the market? Cally can choke on em! Or maybe just carb! -
you forgot drive axles, unless things have changed, they dont come with axles or drive line
-
I think you need to get 2 of 3 done after the factory. That's to say you can order a " rolling glider " with axles, install your own engine and tranny.

ENR is correct. I am currently actively pricing a Western Star LowMax glider with the rearends factory installed. So far the pricing has been on the high side compared to what it was in the past just due to the demand of gliders. Also build times just to get the cab and chassis are out to about June of next year if I ordered this week. The delay is mostly due to the lack of parts for some reason.

Freightliner built sndiner about 80 gliders with 03 emission reman
Dets and reman trans new rears this summer! Turn key drive it home

I've always thought a glider kit was a great idea....now that there is such a difference between pre-emission and current engines....it is a fantastic idea. I wish we had the glider option in Europe....I'd be first up to buy one
Duck22 Thanks this. -
Emissions laws will not allow it ? almost postive Man and volvo etc almost have it offer gliders for wreck reconstition ? It was at first only for that here ! Like when you roll an 2012 Pete or an Man ! I like your 2 x6 drive set up , can realy save fuel if set up right! Locker and sec dump valve to load the single axle ? Or you use an air lift axle ?

I have been thinking the same thing. Having one 40K lbs drive axle with a 17K lift/tag axle for when off road or empty would be nice for the mpg's Wouldn't do it if I couldn't lock the drive axle.
