You need to have your CDL before coming to May. They do not have a school. They accept graduates from schools. They do offer tuition reimbursement. I took advantage of it and got $100/month until I got my money back. They did put it on your check with everything else, so it did get taxed. Better than nothing though.

When I was in training I never went west of des Moines Iowa. I never been to any of those passes, is this a training issue on planning or training. I never went to a terminal with a trainer except the one I was hired out of. This is a breakdown in communication with planning and lack of. I am still on training pay hypothetically speaking.

In the 3 weeks I was training when I was first hired, I went to 32 states, drove across almost all regular major passes, and went to the terminals in Layton, Payette, and Denver, as well as mh home terminal in P-Cola

It is sad that a company that used to be one of the best out west is now being compared with Swift.

They used to pay guys out of training .32 a mile. Run ungoverned trucks, at least mine was . Most where 65 now what 62? They lowered it when they went the driver mill route. 140% turner over? Yep that is defiantly driver mill status. I actually made money on the idle policy but some of my friends from the southwest got hammered on that.

Maybe if they maintained the equipment and washed the trucks they could of been more then a training mill with 4 hr load and unload customers that GTI gave away.

I remember when I went to orientation and saw their facility's I thought OK this must be one of their trashier facility's. Then I went to Yolo,Fontana,Layton and Phoenix OMG what dumps. they actually wanted me to leave my nice vehicle I worked hard for in that little carp of a drop yard in Auburn.LOL No road service on 97 had to drag my trailer to LS. Here is how they did there yearly trl inspections. Sticker in one hand, tire thumper in the other. A go around while you where fuel and slap on a new sticker
