20 breaths per hour? I must be doing it all wrong.

Congrats Big Mut!! I know you must be ready to leave the Campus Inn, lol!

I went to see my doctor yesterday on my high blood pressure. Did the EKG and blood work both seems fine. She put me on Lisinopril once a day and told me the things to do and stay away from. Doc thinks she can have me back in the normal range in a couple of weeks if the dosage is right. All I need to do now is watch my sodium, get some cardio in everyday for about 30 minutes and send Prime 3 good readings so I can return to Springfield.

Talked to my recruiter about what was going on with my doc and Joan already has my return date of November 22nd if everything goes well. Wait a minute... isn't that the week of Thanksgiving?? Hmmmm, I'll give her a call back next week to make sure the date is correct and if Prime will be training that week. If so, oh well, off to Prime I go! It's not going the first holiday or the last I will miss with Prime. It is what it is and I'm fine with that, just get me back to Springfield so I can get started... again!

Again, Big Mut and to all the guys that made it through the week of the 17th, CONGRATS!!

    Be safe and God bless!

Might be. From a previous career reference of mine:

From the Loyola University Medical Education Network
    Author: A. Chandrasekhar, MD

    • The patient should not be aware that you are counting his respiratory rate.
    • Count the respiratory rate while pretending to take the patient's pulse.
    • Note the rate, pattern and comfort of respiration.

    Normal:

    • Resting rate is between 10-14 per minute, regular with no apparent discomfort.
    • Chest wall and abdomen expand during inspiration and is symmetrical.
    • Abdominal component of expansion is dominant in men and thoracic component in women.
    • Periodic deep breathing (sighs) less than 5 per minute.

Well done, steady. Keep up with what your doc said and you'll be in class next month. They start each and every Tuesday.

well, that was a fun day, it is 9pm and i am just now getting back to my room. I have been out of the hotel since 6:30 and at hq since 7. We had a pre trip class for three hours. then my trainer took me over to the industrial area east of there and we did four hours of shifting. i am finally starting to get it a little, at least i didnt break his tranny so i guess that is a good sign.

well tomorrow we have another day of driving around that area for at least a few hours shifting. if i really get the hang of it we leave sometime monday i guess.

tomorrow, well he doesnt sound like we are going anywhere till afternoon, so openroaddreamer dm me and maybe say hi. im the one with glasses and a kane county cougar hat on. kinda big
