What percentage wash out right at this point then (the agility test)?

So, you get sent home on the first day, your toast, no refund, etc??

Seems like a lot to risk for "maybe".

Do you have high blood pressure? Are you out of shape? If you answer yes to either question then "maybe" you should worry.
Now if you have blood pressure medication, then don't worry.
If you can do the tests that are on the website without passing out from lack of oxygen, then don't worry.
I am curious, what money would you be refunded? Didn't cost me anything to go to orientation except for tolls in my rental car and those were reimbursed.

They are asking for various fees up front, even though it's supposed to be financed.... please send or bring $400 motel money, please send 280 bucks for this, be prepared to pay for that.... I see about seven hundred clams out the window if I dont cut the gym class.

Odd that I found out about it all via the forum, no mention with specifics till this point.

You will pay $185.00 before school starts.
    100.00 for registration
85.00 for CDL skill road test

You will need $400.00 the first morning of class for the hotel (private room!)

Everything except the $100.00 registration is refunded if you wash out.

The tuition refund is prorated for between 20% and 80% until you receive 60% of the training, then no refund.

I have been concerned about the pre-hire screens also, but I cut the smokes, caffiene, and sodium for 2 days (not completely, just less) and my BP went from 134/84 to 113/81. Fantastic, huh! Also, just get out and take a 20 minute walk everyday (that should be about a mile) and that will stabilize your heart rate.

The Heart rate formula is 220-your age x .9.

So for me, I'm 55, it will be
    220-55=165
    165x.9=148.5 beats per minute.
They will give you a breif rest after the tests to give you an opportunity to fall below standards.

    GOOD LUCK!!

    the_van_rat Thanks this.
