Just Finished on the Road Training

I had already found that vid on youtube but thanks! Is orientation tough? The driver that referred me to Schneider likened orientation to boot camp, super tough. But one person's tough can be another person's easy, just wanting to hear other peoples opinions

 

It's nothing like boot camp...That driver is feeding you a line. Did he even go to boot camp ? It's more like on the job training theres rules but no push up's LOL

That was a very informative video. Have applications in with Schneider and like what I have read, just not sure about driving an orange truck. lol I equate the orange truck with Clemson University and I was raised not to like Clemson, haha. Got three more weeks of driving school and eagerly await driving with somebody.

 

She was a girl whose previous work experience that I know of was teaching hair cutting (hair saloning? however you call it lol) I actually have been through boot camp but it's been a few years haha.

Hubby and I have a date set for Orientation for next Saturday, 10/29, a week from now. Super excited!

 

Congrats and hope you and hubby like life over the road. And as for a Orange truck, if your driving team you could get a Grey truck or a White one. I could go along with it being a Tennessee truck. It's all how you look at it right? Passed a bunch of Pumpkins yesterday on the way back to Columbia, SC from Evans, GA. Was enjoying a beautiful day on my Hawg.

 

Going to orientation in Charlotte, NC. Supposed to start this Saturday but they are still running our background checks so that could change. I can only hope that we get a grey or white truck! Nothing against orange, but... they do kinda stand out a little lol.

 

Did you start orientation strawberry? I have been trying to get in touch with the recruiter in Charlotte since last Friday, been leaving 2-3 messages a day, finally talked to him yesterday. Wants more paperwork completed. They have had my application since 10/08/11. We'll see I guess....

 

I was an O/O with SNI until Dec 2009, had to leave for deployment to Iraq. Now looking at coming back but as a Company Driver.
