Hey buddy im actually working for them now me and another driver teaming..please give me insight on how they operate im seeing a few shady things already

I worked for alex an he burned me for $2300! He is broke an always has the excuse that he is waiting for the broker to pay him so he can pay you. He wont pay you dead head miles, detention pay, or lay-overs! He is 21yr old punk trying to run his fathers buisness with his junk trucks that break down all the time. You might have to pay for fuel out of your pocket and he will promise to give you a comcheck. You will lose your license working for him. I took the loss but im happy getting paid every week from a real company now. Stay away from unlimited carriers!!!

For you who are still working for this guy a tip:

IF he says you'll need to put fuel in the truck out of your pocket, ask the idiot how when he hasn't paid you. And if the truck has 300 gallon capacity in the tanks then you need 270 gallons worth of money! You're sucking so much air that the tanks are empty!

IF he sends you a comm check cash it.

Then call him back and thank him for the PAY but it wasn't enough and the truck will NOT move until you receive all of your pay AND a full tank of fuel so you can get HOME, NOT the yard! He can come and get his truck from where ever it is you live.

Now he WILL threaten you with the police but don't worry to much about that as you will be in the truck parked and you have the IFTA and all the other paper work on the truck not to mention that stupid card that says you passed a road test or something else that says you are the driver of that truck. Hopefully you kept copies of all the paperwork that has crossed your fingers for in case this yoyo hasn't paid you yet.

In fact if you guys DO have a load and no fuel or pay tell him you are about to park the truck at a wrecker yard and that they charge oh say $150 a day storage and that they only take cash after you told them how you bounce checks! it wouldn't hurt to call or talk to the wrecker company you will use! And if it's a reefer tell him it's almost out of fuel also for an additional 40 gallons worth of cash!

Do the next victim that gets in the truck a favor and leave several notes to them hidden around the cab that they will find while putting their stuff in it warning them as to what will happen to them! Tell them to come to this post if they can!

If he is that bad it'll be doubtful he'll pay HireRight/DAC to report you as he has to pay into the system before he can use and report.

Report him to the BBB in his town, county AND the state!

If he still hasn't repaid you for loads you hauled keep the BOLs you have until he pays you. A moron company that does not have an operating capital that is used to pay drivers for their work when payday comes around is not a company but a scam! If the word Russan scares you then take the truck back and leave. If you are not scared of a punk Russan then tell him flat out that he does NOT get the BOL until he fills the truck up and fills your wallet with your earnings OR he'll lose money for each day the truck sits while waiting for your chaep rookie arse to man up and run a company and send it all on a com check! What is the profitable way to do this? HMMM?

 

I am a recruiter with Unlimited Carrier out of Lemont Il. I often hear reference to this review from job candidates. I would simply like to point out that this is not us. We have never had payroll issues and never will. I hate that people have had this experience with a carrier with so similar a name. Please be careful when reading reviews, to make sure the review you are reading is about the carrier you are actually considering. You could get the wrong information and either end up working for a bad company when you thought you read good reviews or missing a chance to work for a good company because you read bad rewiew about another carrier with the same name.

 

They are asking me to upload a picture of my driver's license, social security card, and medical card. It seems shady to me, given the fact that no one has ever asked me for this before.
