I applied to a few companies and got denied from 2 and a prehire from 1 of them.

I applied on Monday, Wednesday I talked to the recruiter and we discussed my background (he was still awaiting the MVR.) I have 2 marijuana convictions when I was a teenager, he was under the impression I only had 1. But I clarified that I had 2 separate offences.

The question on on the app. was, "Have you ever been convicted of a felony or misdeanor?"

I responded "yes that I had been convicted of Marijuana and battery as a teenager."

Basically I don't want to get booted from orientation for something stupid like fcuking up the app. process.

Do you think the recruiter would have done his job correctly and noted the 2 marij. convictions I mentioned BEFORE submitting for the prehire???

My background sucks and I REALLY need this job. I'm also a student graduating in 2 weeks.

Unless the charge/conviction was after your 18th birthday, those records are sealed. In the US at least.

If you were charged as adult, it will be on your record.

In Illinois, unless your record has been expunged, potential employers can access your it. This was changed due to the violent nature of crimes teens were committing. Sorry.

Oh yes then can at least here in Florida. My 22 year odl is trying to get a job and a felony that he had as a minor is haunting him. The joke of it is he can get it sealed it will just cost us a small fortune to do so. Seems like they do it just for the money. His probationary period stated that it would drop off at 18 if he never got in any trouble well that was a lie, it droped off at the county level but not state.

Wrong, not true anymore, especially here in Florida. Minor's felonies still show after 18

I do not want to be harsh here Mike, but let's look at this situation from the company's perspective for a second. You had two instances (at least) involving an illegal substance and one that severely effects judgement and reaction times. But, it appears we didn't get the full story in your first post, since in a later one you said something about 3 convictions for "Substance Somethingorother". Is it two or three? Were they all while you were a minor? Then you also mention "Plus a DUI". A DUI is hardly a "Oh, by the way" type of offense for a comercial driver. I note that yu are 25 yeras old. That means if the DUI was after you were 21 (legal to drink), it was in the last 4 years. Even if it was before 21, but after 18, it was in the last 7 years, which disqualifies you anyway, not to mention that would also make it a minor in possession (another seperate crime involving substance abuse). If it was when you were under 18, that's even more serious.

Here's the deal. You knew before you started CDL school what the rules are. Under the rules, right or wrong, you will likely need to wait a few more years and keep your nose real clean before you can get a CDL, let alone hired. Once all of your problems are more than 7 years old (maybe even 10 years) you might be able to jump through hoops of fire to get a CDL and hired somewhere. It may involve substance abuse counseling. Most cmpanies, however, look back across a very long period when looking at substance abuse offenses, so you may be barred for life, at least from some companies. A very few will be forgiving of infractions over 10 years old. Unfortunately, this is a case of your own poor decisions in the past affecting you now.
