Do most carriers want an original, raised seal birth certificate? My uncle sent me a scan/pdf of my original via email? I can get another copy but it will take a little time.
PDI (more 1/1 and smaller classes) or TDI...your thoughts......
My current job is switching me to graveyard. Is it wise to try and work a 10pm-6am regular job and do p/t CDL training at PDI which is 20 minutes away?
Thanks for the insights. I am learning a lot just from the due diligence.

You must have an original birth certificate nobody accepts photo copies.
-
Since when do you need to submit a birth certificate?
-
If you do need your birth certificate, please be aware there are two different kinds.
My daughter just had problems getting a state ID from Utah. It seems the birth certificate we had was one issued by the hospital where she was born, which was in New York. Utah required a state birth registration, which is different.
We had to send to the town clerk of the town where she was born to get it. Cost $10.00 and took about 2 weeks.
Her state birth registration says "State of New York birth registration" -
changed my name and was told a passport could replace a birth certificate, so hoping it is so at most places. the company i want to go with said the passport was fine. so hoping i can get on with them

I prefer using my passport, rather than deal with what a company may/may not accept for a birth certificate.
