When you become a company driver trainer, do they pay you less per mile or does it stay the same as if you were solo. If so what do they pay company driver trainers?
-
Trainers get paid at the team rate. But also get bonus's when the trainee gets his own truck, after the trainee has been here a year, plus like 2cpm for every mile the trainee runs. From what a trainer told me this evening.
-
No bonus for trainee upgrading. No CPM from future miles. No bonus for trainers other than the usual fuel bonus.
All team dispatched miles are counted towards the trainer's pay raise counter. However not to vacation.
Instructors are the only group that get some sort of extra money at various points of upgrade. The CPM thing works out to be far less than .02 on all future miles it's more like .001 -
Just goin by what a trainer told me the other night....

Found this little tidbit on driveforeprime.com I know its for O/O's. What are the details on this exactly?
Guarantee Revenue Program for Independent Contractors -
That being said, it is a floor - we're paid 72% of linehaul, fuel surcharge plus accessorial payments which works out to be quite a bit more in a good economy. -

Noticed it on the poster in Pittston this morning. An again, nowhere close to 2cpm... I wish I had jotted it down but it's in the neighborhood of .001cpm -
Before anyone gets big dreams of recruiting here on TTR... It's not allowed and you can get banned if caught.
Also your recruit has to put your name/driver code on both the initial application before and the 2nd application that they fill out after they get to Prime. This prevents cherry pickers at the hotel who suddenly get a epiphony and try to offer to split the bonus with the new guys.
Granted it would be nice if I could of collected on all the people who said I helped them make their decision to come to Prime here, but then anything positive I have to say about Prime would be suspect.
