OTR with the Carolina Kid

Hey everybody, delivered my Menards load to Janesville without a hitch. Hit ready for dispatch and got a load picking up in Richfield and going to Fennimore, WI. Got to richfield and hooked up to my load, went to put load locks in and noticed the load had shifted against the trailer doors. Let dispatch know, and the gave me another load delivering at the same place for monday morning. Had a nice relaxed day in Richfield watching NFL with the fellow drivers. Also got to talk and chat with Baritone and also meet MojoPotatoe. Pleasure talking to both of you guys. Hope everyone had a good weekend. Be safe

 

Hey yall, delivered my monday am load this morning without any problems, besides going to the wrong side of building, lol. From there got a John Deere load that I picked up in Janesville and its going to Worrenton, Virginia for Wed appt. Currently sitting at the T/A in Whitestown, Indiania. Starting to feel a bit under the weather but hopefully it passes with a good nights rest. Hope everyones well

 

Sorry, thats what I meant to say, lol. Didnt have enough hours to get all the way there tonight, but might check that place out tomm. Im a sucker for some BBQ, lol

Well pretty productive day. Only had 9.75 hours to work today and manged to get in 610 miles. I tell ya what, this light load had me feeling like superman going across 68, lol. Currently at the Wilco Travel Center across from the Loves at exit 291 in Virginia. Bout 60 miles from the customer in Warrenton. Everybody be safe!

 

Well, deliverd to the John Deere store in Warrenton with no problem. Super nice guys over there. From there got a load picking up at Owens in Toana, VA going to Patterson WHSE in Fulton, NY. After about 5 hours finally got loaded, and drove to the Flying J at exit 104 on 95 to take my 10. Ive stopped there twice now for my 10 and both times the Dennys there has messed up my order. Prolly last time I go there. Today drove on up to Patterson WHSE where I sit till the am. Im not sure if this is a drop and hook or live unload. On the way up saw my first snow of the season, from Scranton, PA all the way up to Just south of Syracuse it snowed pretty regurlary. Had a lil accumilation on the grassy areas and one lil strecth in the NY mountains had a lil on the road but nothing bad at all. Post to be in the 20'S here tonight so time to bundle up.
