I see it as the much less of two evils. What if you blow a tire and it causes a wreck?

Ive already. Blown a drive on that axle. Didn't do much. Fortunately the rubber didn't take anything else with it. I have it in writing that I've asked four times for new drives. My rear drive axle has new tires on it. My fr

Jesus H Christ. What the hell are they thinking? First they complain that their CSA score is crap, then they make you drive on bum equipment. What's messed up is Knight wears the casings out on the tires so bad that they can't be recapped which in turn costs them even more money because they can't get the recap credit from the tire.

Don't forget about all the lazy drivers that never do pretrips. I've met some. Their tires are visibly low, even for radials. Drivers AND shop employees need to pay more attention.

A few lazy ##### are ruining things for the rest of us. It's just easier to lay the blame on knight.

What I mean is... Driver neglect also plays a role on tire wear and sidewall lifespans.

Knight has me on tires that are technically legal, but I don't like them.

I'm a beginner. It could be much worse.

I only idle when it's below 20 or above 70. My bunk heater is awesome and I have window screens to keep a nice cross breeze when it's warmer but not warm enough to idle. The truck has sensors so you can only idle above 70 degrees and below 30. I've never needed to idle otherwise yet. I prefer to shut down. I won't sweat though, but I sleep better in cooler weather.
