Blown black smoke!

    06 cummins isx blown black smoke on hard pulls. I have changed a household list of things startin with egr valve,egr cooler,egr pressure sensor, turbo actuator, cleaned all sensors on intake and all tubes. Also one ata boot, been told to get overhead tuneup. Any other suggestions,

    Get another truck without a EGR ISX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You will continue to have problems we have 9 07's with ISX's we are selling them all! They are nothing but money pits! We have around 30 trucks and the ISX without an EGR is a FAIR motor not great but fair.

    i have an isx 530 with over 2 million km.it started to blow black smoke so i had a topset done first.the injectors are also adjusted along with the jakes 100% better.most people think that the injectors are just electrical but they also have the adjustment on the spring pressure

    do a topset if you have not done one yet.should be done for regular mantinence anyway
