Congrats!! Now get used to eating those mud bugs and sucking those heads.:biggrin_2559: Lot of good eating in LA. Lot of spicy food but plenty of good home cooking as well. Hot and sweaty in summer but every place has it's good and bad seasons. Keep us posted.

I think 2 years verifiable Class A driving is all you need, the better your overall commercial driving resume is the more likely they are to overlook some of their requirements. I have only 2 years of verifiable tractor trailer driving experience, but I have a total of 10+ years of experience as a commercial driver subject to FMCSR and drug screenings, 10 years with one company and a very good driving record and work history as well as extensive experience off road. I have never hauled liquid tankers, and never hauled bulk liquid hazmat. The hiring process is LONG, which I have found to be the case in general in the crude hauling business.

Got a line on a job . Pulling belly dump. Good money, paid flight home every 4th week for a week (3/1) and a place to stay. Im jumping on this one. Purchasing RV tomorrow anyway. Rather buy rv than rent some place and living with a stranger. Let you all know how it goes. later

Took me two months to get hired on to haul crude in Texas. Long long process, but it was worth it. Hang in there!:biggrin_25519:

Sunoco. The hiring process is lengthy. The physical took three hours. The HR department digs for everything. Believe me they will know everything about you before you get the job. Oh yeah, you better be pretty healthy ( cause they check everything). That means get ready to bend over. Ha Ha:biggrin_2559::biggrin_2559:
