Haha! Wow. Thanks for the warm welcome and well wishes everyone. I appreciate it.

I have not. I'm still searching, being patient, and trying to make as informed a decision as I can. I figure this is one of the most important steps.

Awesome! Congrats on the catches! Nice to see some other Bama folk on here, especially so close! One of my jobs is down Fort Morgan Road.

Definitely! I'm shooting for it someday. I still have a long way to go however before I can be up to scratch and stable and start making any real money doing it. I've learned a lot, but there's still so much to learn and perfect, and I ain't getting any younger! :biggrin_2559: Until that time comes, I need some other way to build a life for myself.

    Ms.Jesse and SheepDog Thank this.

Welcome Jessica! It's a great place to learn everything you need to know, and some you don't want to know..lol. I just started truck driving school. Good luck with your ventures.

I'm the same as you Jessica. Hopefully we can share some information we find here and assist each other. My hubby is in school, graduates in a week or so, then once he is out and generating, I will leave my job and go to school and then hopefully this will be our new life. Finding anything good or bad or indifferent? My husband drove 20 years ago, and he is in heaven. Me? Never ever been in a truck for longer than a ride around the block. Little nervous, big leap. You sound strong, sure you will do great. (I'm 20 years older than you so little different with me) Best wishes
