I just got denied by PRIME for employment. Here is my situation.
I owned a business from 2003 until 03-2011. I attended a community college from Oct 2010 thru Dec 2010. I wasn't able to complete the class due to a broken foot. I took a job with a bank in April 2011 and the training was cut due to some unknown reason and I was laid off in May 2011. I took a job June 2011 thru end of Sept. I haven't had a job since then.
The recruiter said the safety dept held it up. I called the safety dept and spoke to a rather rude gentleman. He said that because I didn't finish the schooling in Dec and I only worked the job from May thru Sept that I had a bad work history. He drilled me about the schooling and not completing it. I have sent them company tax returns, personal tax returns, business licenses, former employees names with numbers, customers names with number and they still need more information to prove ownership.
I don't think this company is fair. I am not saying they are not a good company to work for, but they jerked me around and waisted almost two weeks of my time.

It's a decision they made. I expect you might also have the same troubles with other employers, too. Sounds like you got the raw end of the stick shoved where the sun don't shine. Bummer.
But get a work history and reapply. If you want it bad enough, you'll have to put up with the BS. It's all part of the game. -
Hey webstera17. It was very disheartening reading your post. Wishing you the very best.

I sure wish I could get one of those bouncing icons. I put one on and it just sits there. No movement at all. I am cursed.

Well dude, there are a LOT of companies out there. Don't let your hat fall because of one company denying you.
skellr Thanks this. -
I think you'll find that your work history is against you in this industry. There is so much turnover as it is - carriers (not just Prime) are looking for folks who will stick with it. The long soujourn on unemployment despite your under-the-table work won't inspire confidence. A lot of folks who are less than motivated get the idea that this is some kind of easy gig - it isn't. My advice to you is to find yourself anything - including minimum wage food service - stick with it awhile building up a working history, and then apply.

cool I have a question what should the doctor put on the fit for full duty paper. I had a surgery on my left Clavical collar bone in 2008 I am fit for full duty to be released from Active duty (RETIRE) did all my physical activities and load weapons on jets also no issue
-
You have no control or input into what a physician puts on any form, so don't worry about it. If his or her medical opinion is that you are "fit for full duty," you'll be good. If not, you won't.

I guess the part where there was an "unknown reason" might raise a red flag. If my tranning was cut off i'd know why, it sounds like Prime was asking the same thing. Find the reason the tranning was stopped.

cool so all they will put is that I am fit or Non fit for full duty thanks
