Hubby in upstate New York with 1-2 inches of snow on ground, expecting more! Got news about my WIA application - denied!! Why, because of my current unemployed career is on their list of targeted occupations, (REALLY, then why does anyone apply that had a job on that list) which is bs because their are no jobs been unemployed for 2 years now. Sooo, I am trying to appeal with stats of projected openings in my occupation now vs truck driving.

Any other suggestions to the funding would be great! Really - I dont even think they did any consideration at all of my application. Sure would like to start CDL school soon

 

regardless i have to wait till monday i was told noone works on weekends lol and i'll train with anyone even though i have seen some drivers that you know.....mechanics pullin trucks out of the bay with there head out the window gagging. i just hope i get a decent trainer that isn't a slob

 

Nope, already talked to our Fleet Owner and he is making the arraingements to have us back on Johnathans board on Monday. Our new FM just never followed through on anything he promised. I think he is just lazy. We were very spoiled by someone who really cared how we were doing. I will neve cheat on him again.

I have a whole new respect to our friends who have dealt with crappy FM's

OMG that is to funny!!! I drover thru there too but is was like 2am but I can see where it would be freaking nasty too!!!

 

I seem to get burned every weekend. They pulled my load to get me home from me last night. They claim the load had to be picked up at 7am this morning. I am sitting in Jeffersonville, OH tonight, and was supposed to be home. I have a load going to 3 hrs below Tunnel Hill. I need to get some things on this truck looked at to. I think I have a battery going or gone.

 

Like I said, send SheepDog a note and ask him if he wants a student. He is not a bad guy. You could learn from him, and get it done and over with.

 

i send him a pm I can tell hes a nice guy, I just didnt want to idk like put him on the spot you know? i'd love to train with someone on this forum
