Got denied by Werner for driving record.....

Check out some Beverage companies (beer/soda) . Heavy lifting , but usually you see younger drivers with less experience.

 

Do not I repeat do not join the military just to drive a truck!

 

Yeah, yer right.. funny how you don't see the Army Reserve commercials anymore saying how you only serve 1 weekend a month and 2 weeks per year with ALL that money you'll get for college!

 

i hate to say but your chances of driving semi with the lead foot you have are extremely minimal if not at all.
those speeds are uncalled for in any situation.

 

Not all companies live by guidelines set by the insurance companies. Some companies self-insure themselves, and those will be the companies to give you an opportunity.

Do some research about companies that self-insure, and get in touch with them. Don't take no for an answer. Go above the requiters head if necessary. The company I drive for told me no before hiring me. Be creative. If I can get a job within the trucking business, then almost anyone can.

Oh, and forget about driving for the "household name" type of trucking companies. You need to concentrate on going to a company that people go to for experience.

 

Maybe young and dumb them, but still young, with a driving record like this only 2 years ago, cant blame the company, but your own self, WE dont need any more reckless drivers on the road with 80,000 ibs, you will need to prove yourself, been almost 2 years sence your last reckless driving charge, 80 in a 55 is in my opinion reckless, you've got 1 more year to go, find something else for the year, and try again

 

look what happened in indiana roehl driver came around a turn killed 7 he went to school about a month before i did good kid clean record, #### happens bottom line no ones perfect but like mentioned above try self insured companies even the worst after ur there for a year inccodent free youll be ok

 

Werner also denied me because of driving record. Had to wait until the ticket was three years old and they hired me. Kinda wish they never did.
