    Currently yearly.

Rand does spend a lot of time verifing newer maps for issues that have been received to make sure they are corrected.

    Thanks,
    mark

I know this has probably been asked and answered somewhere in this vast thread but... I'm running windows 7 on my laptop and it won't recognize my 510 when I plug it in. Says there isn't a driver. I've searched high and low to find one to D/L .

The driver is already on the laptop. Some of the newer 64 bit/Win 7 and a few 32bit/win7 do not see the TND as an external device.

The ports have changed in the kernels on win7 and this affects the USB handshaking.

You can call Customer support and ask for a 1.1 USB hub. This seems to help in a lot of cases as it lengthens the frequency of the signal on the USB ports.

I have also seen using a 1' USB cable.

Also, with the laptop off and the TND on and connected to the computer, turn the laptop on.

The TND USB ports are build to USB 2.0 standards.

    Thanks,
    Mark

mark i talked to you on phone new electrical cord works great but i have been driving 34+ years my friend talked me into buying this i have been delivering furniture for 28 years and that is different than going to industrial zones.sometimes it is amazing but most of the time a failure. low bridges residential sections it finds them great right when im looking at bridge its saying make u turn if possible does not know truck routes rock barn rd out of conover red warning no trucks. i dont keep all mistakes made to many you really need to use common sense otherwise it will get you in trouble ed

Your running a 70' truck and trailer to deliver furniture in residential areas? I don't think any GPS can help you out. The only 70' legal trailer that I know of are car stingers.
