im making that right now driving and home weekly. well roughly that. and most people would rather get a pay raise instead of a pay cut when changing jobs. 910 biweekly is 455 a week. you can go most places and get that easy.
Would u give up trucking for a salary job making 910 semi monthly?

I am interested in knowing what you are doing to make 910 biweekly. I can't find anything that pays over 325.00 a week. Please fill me in on where jobs are that pay 910 biweekly.
I'm hoping to start CDL school soon but in the meantime what you are getting paid isn't a bad gig. -
The problem a lot of people have is the check to check attitude. It doesn't matter how much they make it will all be spent. Bigger home, better car, fill the house with crap you don't need etc etc. They could make 4k a month or 20K a month, its all gone by the next pay cycle. I think the light came on for me when we moved house and I watched them fill a 53ft moving truck with our stuff. 35ft of that truck was filled with crap we didn't use or need and haven't touched in years. Today we would need a much smaller truck.

Are you SERIOUS?!! WHERE on earth can a person find that salary in todays economy??! 325.00 a week is all I can find if that. I really have to get out of the world of education and service oriented jobs soon.

There are tons of jobs that pay $500+ a week take home.
When I was a mechanic i made $700-$1000 a week take home at 18 years old.
I worked as a forklift operator and made $40,000 a year, jobs like this are VERY easy to get, sure the job sucks, working conditions suck, but the benifits and pay can be very good. Funny thing is this wasnt even close to the highest paying Warehouse in Charlotte, NC....
$18/hr to drive a forklift for Kellogs here in Charlotte
$19/hr to be a Switcher for Kellogs here in Charlotte
$19/hr to drive a forklift in a Refridgerated warehouse here in Charlotte
etc plenty of good work out there, you just have to find it. You live in TX try the oil fields you can make a ton of money do that......

No they dont, but $910 bi weekly is terrible.
-
900.00-1200.00 just hours West of you in the Oilfield...that is about what I bring home when you break it down weekly.
-
I could live off of that, if it means I'm home every night to boink my woman.
American-Trucker Thanks this. -
LOL thats awesome yet true I mean I would take that to be able to boink your wife everynight too!
Sorry you left yourself open for it. -
I have been with my company for 8 years and this is what I am at. I train people on machines. I have a family to support a woman and 3 kids. There is an automobile plant that starts out making more in the door than I have in 8 years of working at my company.
