The New FFE Driver Academey

Thanks guys, headed to fortworth on the 21st unless things change. I read this entire thread and it was very helpful in making my choice, so thanks to all that contributed here.

 

Well tomorrow will be my third day of orientation. Hope I get a pretty decent driver trainer. Think big thing tomorrow will be getting on the payroll. Catch you guys later

 

Hey, Spat do you roll through here a lot? I mean your right here in Haines City (what a small world) so i guess your around here from time to time. The reason I ask is because I always see FFE trucks on 27 and I'm always looking at the truck numbers to see if its anyone from here lol

Hey Playmaker I talked to a recruiter earlier today and he told me that since I didn't go through one of their partnered schools that I had to go to a 2 week training/orientation. Do you know anything about this?

 

Well I'm actually finishing up orientation tomorrow and just waiting till. I'm assigned to a trainers truck. the whole experience so far has been great and I'm really looking forward to my training on the truck. After everything they went over in orientation seems like so much stuff to try and learn.

 

How long was your orientation?

 

Orientation started monday afternoon and lasted till Wednesday night. They throw so much stuff at you though regarding there policies and procedures. Lots of handout material for sure. I have only flatbed experience myself so refrigerated freight is a whole new animal for me.
