I currently have one year experience in driving tractor trailers im a local driver for allied and getting paid hourly. I am need of a new job because of hours have been drop and also tired of carrying dressers up and down steps basically its a very frustrating job especially driving and residential zones. Understand due to the economy alot of jobs and stuff been cut. But i seen some jobs hiring such as ryder, cardinal, jb hunt, and couple other ones tryna stay local dont want to run the the road. I been putting applications in over the internet but no recruiters havent been contacting me thru email or phone. Was wonder if i should put the applications in person?

Im 23 years old with 1 year exp. in driving tractor trailers

You need to make sure and call the companies after you fill out the apps. Usually the next day. Those companies get hundreds of apps a day so unless you call them you most likely aren't going to hear from anybody.

I wouldn't hire anyone that speaks and/or spells like that. Yeah, and your MVR isn't so hot. Good luck. In this economy you have to bring your best, and buddy there's better out there.
