We all know the best jobs and most honest people advertise on Craig's list, or was that the Craig's list killer I heard about.
He is not legit!! -
Wouldn't ya just love to tie this guy to pole at a truck stop and charge $1 a hit for charity.
-
Because he is shipping guns and cash to Mexico and drugs back
josh.c Thanks this. -
So noone has called him yet??
-
Dont know if this guy is legit or not BUT I do know due to the cost of advertising in local news papers sky rocketing the last few yrs. I did use CL to advertise for employees under help wanted the last few yrs in business and had great results...There are legit business that use CL, not defending this guy just my experience...

While there are legitimate businesses that advertise on Craig's List, there are just as many scammers on there. In addition, many established companies advertise there too.
However, one thing you can be absolutely sure of is that no great jobs and few good jobs are listed there. These are the bottom of the barrel jobs or scams period. Anything legitimate that you find there is up to 25% below market wages and anything you find that looks good is almost surely a scam. Now this doesn't mean if you are feeling lucky that you shouldn't take that 3% chance that you will get something good there (sarcasm intended).
This is as simple as the load boards and all other supply and demand objects in the world. The good loads don't make the load boards and the good jobs aren't advertised on Craig's List. This works the same as the good companies don't advertise for drivers or owner operators.
If you are looking to get a job in another area, Craig's List can help and then when you get there and get established you can get a better job. If you have problems that are holding you back this is also a good way to get a chance.
However, if you are looking at "too good to be true" ads you are a perfect mark for a scam. If you are looking to load your trucks from Craig's List or load boards with no broker or shipper relationships you are in trouble.
