Glad to hear he's doing okay. I feel for the loved ones because I've lost close family before, but I still can't imagine how he must feel. I'm about his age and with that in my head my days would be a living hell for a long time. :(

most time if im just sitting there waiting for a load , im ussally outside doing something in the sidebox , i like a clean truck, sometime's i see driver and i dont care if one week or 45 years, we all have our days at the wheel of mercy, anyway this driver was having a heck time , and really wasnt his fault, just one those days , so went over and see what the trouble was, he was in a super tight dock, so i went back grab my hand held two ways, walk back over hand him after he said so, i guide him and talk him into foward and backward, got my radio back and thought he that was the neetst thing, and thank me, so i had no load, got okay went too truckstop to grab a bite too eat, when he came walking in,seen me and i always sit a table , go for it i told him and we chatted up a storm about trucks and stuff then when time too pay , nope i got this one and we still are good freinds today ,so you never know , dosnt hurt too ask if they need help , i know i like anthor set of eyes is great, when backing up, then slaming into a pete 379 grill :biggrin_25521:

Your kidding me right?? Where did my post come off as blaming anything on anyone?? If you are a sportsman (hunter) from these necks of the woods as I am, deer are far more active on the roadways during hunting season. I see no need to dress it up by saying deer rut so to answer your question no I did not mean to say deer rut I meant to say what I typed.

I guess all of these "profesional drivers" "super truckers" whatever you want to call them would do good the read their bible. There is a good story in there about a prostitute and the town was going to stone her. If you have ever read the story or heard it you know what happened. We as not just truck drivers but as human beings need to think before we start casting stones.

Our Illusions and Delusions are important because they allow us to actually do what needs to be done. Seven people are dead for no better reason than "It was Thursday."

We ignore, along with most of the motoring public, that on a two-lane highway, we're less than 7 ft. from a 110-mph collision, every time a vehicle goes the other way. We adopt, early on, that as long as I do what I'm supposed to do, and everyone else does what they're supposed to do, then everyone gets to where they want to be.

Therefore, if not everyone gets to where they're supposed to be, then someone didn't do, what they were supposed to. And, we're really not interested in blaming the victims. Ergo: Truckers' Fault.

Not that it actually needs to be his fault. We just need to believe it is. Otherwise, in the sense of reality, truth, and Justice, we should wake up every morning, finish our pre-trips, and Think "Hey, I wonder if today's gonna be the day when I take out a loaded schoolbus. I sure hope it's not gonna be my fault."

Nope, not me. I'm gonna do what I'm supposed to do. Therefore, I will not be taking out a schoolbus today. The Driver was obviously strung-out on Crystal-Meth, driving illegally, and didn't think he needed his headlights on, because The God-In-The-Moon allows him to see in the dark.

What are you talking about no he wasnt? Are you being sarcastic? Because none of that is true unless you are talking about a completely different accident then this thread is about. If so go start another thread and dont hijack this 1.
