My worry is where does he go from here? As a brand new driver with two whole loads under his belt, quiting may have been his last action in this industry.

Craig, I had many more loads after these. I have 8 to 10 trip sheets that have not even been transflowed in.

This is and never was about the money. It is what they are doing to me for what I thought was doing my job. I am an honest person, that tries to do my best at what ever I do. I take pride in what I do, how I look with the customer, and just all the aspects of the job that I do.

I ran, ran, and ran some more running loads for USX. I would take my 10 and then roll right back out if i was under load and most of the time I was.

You missunderstand my point. I am not talking about your work ethic or appearance. You have less than a month experience and quit. Regardlesss of the reason, if you find another company who will hire you, you are going to have to go out with a trainer again.

Im so sorry to hear of your problems with USX - HD; Wish you the best of luck in the future; and thank you insight of checking the loads, no matter what! I hate it that you quit after everything you went thru to get to this point; but understand the disappointment of working hard, honest and ethical and find that errors, no matter whose, are not considered with a new driver.

Again, good luck to you in the future.

Sorry to hear the BS U went thru hood luck with another company man. When I hook my routine is hook lines raise landing gear look at all lights work my way back check under trailers even for cracks in frame and any thing hanging the brakes thump tires when I get to rear write seal number and license plate if not sealed I open note only to look at cargo but how far its loaded back. That way I have am idea where my tandems need to b most of the time it adjusted fine. When I'm done pretrip I match vol and seal up. I've never went thru what u did hoping I never do. Stay professional and things will work out. Always CYA B safe and good luck

sry hd but you should have taken a quick peak into the trailer imo. They definately should have called you. On a lighter note, I met musicalgal sorry we didnt really get much time to talk I was exhausted lol and hd my trainers name is seann cool guy hes 30 if that means anything lol. And trucks got ps3! when were on break we watch movies and play video games only after I finished my protreads he made it a point to finish those asap. It's pretty sweet hooking the tv up to the radio and having surround sound also lol so far so good just got home trainer had to do a 34 restart so I am too. and he only lives 1 hr north of me so its really convenient. HD wish you the best of luck but as previously mentioned without 3 months solo like some companies require you may have to be out with another trainer... I'd imagine a shorter amount of time, a few guys at orientation only had to do 50 hours..
that reminds me in 3 days I have driven approx 19 hours me and sean have a deal he comes home the 22nd for turkey day and have 4 days off he promised me we'll drag it out till then so atleast I get to spend it with the family lol pretty sweet deal. I could probably finish before but I dont want to be stuck in ohio for upgrade and get sent somewere else to get a truck and most likely not be home for t-day. thats all so far and ill try to update sooner than later

I am pretty sure that they will burn me on my DAC. They pretty much said that they would not give me the 100 back that they already took out of my pay, and that I would still have to pay them 50 each pay check, and I said sorry I dont play this game and I am out of here.

I clean all of my stuff out of the truck and turned in my keys and left.

They still owe me about 1000 bucks as it is for miles that I have not been paid for.

I have been with USX for a week now. I think everything that could go wrong has gone wrong. After receiving my truck sat a whole two days waiting for a load. Then once I received a load it took me a long time to find a empty trailer, then assigned one that was due for an inspection. That lead up to the removal of my load and waiting for another. Long story short got that load dropped and had to short runs 88 miles a piece. Then another load for 499 miles made that drop and now I'm sitting with a load that doesn't deliver to the 11/07 for a whole 55 miles. Please someone help me and explain is this something normal for this company. Right now Im not very happy with this company because Im on this load due to non communication between my fm and his fill in while he goes on break. OAN I have been out for a week and only have 600 miles to the day.

That was one of the issues I had too, and now it is the weekend and you have to deal with the weekend crew too. I would call in and send a phone MSG in to see if you can drop that load in a drop yard and get something else to keep rolling.

They did pretty much the same thing to me last week. Keep on top of them or they will forget about you. Not sure if it lack of training for the weekend people or they just have way to many people to take care of or both.

    Good luck,
