I was hired by werner and had this kid training me, it was a nitemare from the begining, he was yelling all the time he was just a complete a-hole if you know what i mean!!! well heres is the kicker, nearing the end of my twelve hours driving day and nearing the end of my training I wake him up to drive, well not five min afer we take off he throws the map book on the steearing wheel to have a better look ( we all have done it) well he swervers to the right hits the side of the gard rail and blows out like three tires he was lucky!! he told dispatch that he droped his lighter on the ground and thats why he crashed. two day later we drive into some hotel in indiana and he tell me get my stuff you are getting out here safty wants to talk with you i was like WTF, so the next day safty say did you get into a accident at one of my last employers i said no they said they dident belive me and i was fired just like that ,after spending all my money on the rode and to top it off i am on the dac report and cant get a job on a truck!!!

I do not think I buy much of this. If safety asked about previous employers, then one of them must have told them something. If you have 10 years why were you out for any time with a trainer and why Werner? If things happened like you say and he hit the guardrail, blew 3 tires and told anybody it happened because he dropped his lighter he would probably be fired as well.
What does your spending habits on the road have to do with anything? Why are you on the dac report? -

The log part should be true, but is not always. If the trainer or student are not sending proper messages or keeping up to date one can drive on the others drive time. The E-logs can tell if the truck is moving, it is up to the operator to tell them who is moving it. They do not video who is driving.............................or do they??????????

Yeah there has to be way more to this story. We all know Werner isnt all that but 10 yrs exp and your at Werner with a trainer? BTW Werner hires all kinds of folks with bad marks on their dac report and safety fires them after 2 weeks when they finally see the dac, mvr, etc. I know people that have experienced this. So what was on your DAC and where did you get 10 yrs of experience at as Werner felt the need for you to have a trainer.

geees let me clairfi sory guys my driving exprince is on ready mix 10 yrs 6months daycab and this really happend they fired me becuse not becuse my trainer hit the gaurd rail but becuse one of my ex employers gave me a bad reference
