The newer trucks are eating up turbo's like crazy. The new EPA junk on the trucks is the cause. I was in the TA shop in Indo CA. There was a steady stream of trucks coming in from the big hill on the tow truck. Then they found out that they had to be towed to a dealer to get the turbo replaced.

seebs that pink one would have gone with your hat better

Broke Down in AZ right now. Dealership can't come out until tommorrow to get the truck, then tow it up over flag mountain. That's gonna be fun with a loaded trailer. They said possible wait of 2 weeks for Turbo. I've gotta say boys, it's been a heck of a start here.
First the trainer from hell, now a possible vacation with him in Arizona.
Can somebody give me an AMEN.......... -
AMEN
Sorry, that kinda sucks.
-
That does suck if it takes that long I wonder if its possible to get a rental....well at least thats what road assist suggested could be done in our upgrade class hope everything works out for ya
-
Well. Getting a new truck. Should of kept the #### pink one.
Mudrunner Thanks this. -
Well, it is probably for the best!
-
They tried to give me the pink one again!

I smiled at the lady and asked if they had any other Cascadias. She nodded and handed me the keys to my new baby.
Believe me, should of seen how excited I was when I first laid eyes on it. Love at first sight.
Here she is.

She came with a whopping 9k miles on her. Fully loaded inside including a new quacomm (with a scanner for trips) and an auxilery port (oh how I wanted one). Power everything including window (take that Columbia).
Got both seats as I wanted that. Also came with a deer killer freshly installed

and also DEF. Not super familiar with DEF, all that sticks in my head is that if we run out we are in trouble.
Only thing I haven't liked so far. 4th gear is a real PITA on this truck for some reason. Most the time it goes right in, but occasionally I can't get it in worth a ####. Might be just me getting used to a new truck, plus I don't have a lot of bobtail experience.
Also, there is really no where for a TV. My understanding is most people mount theres on the bedroom wall and thats kind of my idea.
Last thing, no APU like most lightweights. Got an appointment for one on December 20th. So gotta go a little over a month on idling, no big deal.
Anyhoo. For the most part as far as lightweights go, I am real happy. Have really enjoyed my time at Prime so far through PSD and training. I really appreciate them hooking me up with a near brand new truck after the troubles I had with the Columbia.
Hopefully plenty more miles to come.reptij Thanks this. -
WOOHOO! Pretty girl you got there, Seebs!

That's a small sleeper, right?
