They arent in Iowa city.. They are in West Liberty Iowa. Dispatch is in West Liberty and the trucks are parked in davenport. I worked there 22 months and they treated me pretty good. They even gave me a dedicated run so I could be home with my kids because of a divorce. They normally dont have dedicated runs. I left for personel reasons. Overall they treated me fair

 

wow that is tough not having the a/c working not sure about the rules there but over here across the pond if your a/c ain't working the truck is deemed unroadworthy and can be taken off the road until its fixed something to do with workplace health and safety . Thats about the only thing better over here than there.

 

Florilli is a joke of a company. I drove for them for over 3 years and i have had trouble getting every truck i was issued fixed ( major air leaks, no a/c, popping in the front end, oil leak, power steering leak, parking brake not holding, busted windshield, very loose steering columns, the sleeper would even leak ) i was issued 4 trucks and the last truck i was in i went to peterbilt for annual DOT and it wouldn't even pass the inspection and it had no annual sticker yet they still put it back on the road. they bug you anytime you have a hard brake, they think there is no reason to brake hard, idle time etc etc etc they run you illegal and they do haul broker freight. i had sat for almost 2 weeks in Baltimore, MD waiting on a load. The straw that broke the camels back was in september when i was on my way to GA and was not feeling well at all. i delivered on the 6th and i informed allan to take me off the board because i was coughing up blood and come friday i was going to go to the dr. well friday came and they refused to pay for my 2 weeks of vacation plus my mileage pay. i informed them i would not drive when sick and fatigued and brad jones tried to tell me i wasn't sick. i called them constantly and was told that i needed to go to the dr and i told them how when i have no money to pay for the office visit and their insurance is too high which is why i didn't take out their insurance because if i would have i wouldn't have been able to pay my bills at home. i told them the following thursday i would drive truck back to iowa and they said i no longer work there and they hung up on me and now they have blacklisted me. They put down unauthorized location w/o notice, unauthorized use of equipment, late pu/delivery and personal contact requested. i never abandoned their truck. i offered to bring it back to IA and i never used their equipment except to haul their loads and to come home, i was never late for pu/deliver unless it was weather related or shipper/ dispatcher fault. they have given me loads that were to be pu a day ago or i would be at receiver getting unloaded and get a load that was to pu 7 hours ago and my gf is a witness to this too. i was never put oos or received any tickets while with them and i never had any accidents what so ever. The company they use for human resources which was peoplease but is now driver bridge even blacklisted me saying i was a no show which is a #### lie. The way they route you is bs and a lot of the roads that they would tell you to take would be unsafe to take in a truck like the 2 lane back roads of KY and TN and Alabama. They tried to charge me for out of route when they had me routed across hwy30 in pa and a lot of that road trucks can not be on. I had reefer units that would code out and i would tell them about it and they wouldn't get it fixed, have had trailers with blown air bags that they wouldn't get fixed till i got back to Davenport. They would never get anything fixed out on the road unless they had to such as truck broke down or trailer inoperable. i do have a lawyer and i will get my back pay plus emotional stress and i will get the erroneous info removed from my DAC. DO NOT EVEN CONSIDER THEM FOR EMPLOYMENT.

 

Can anyone give any updated information on florilli trucking , it looks like a nice operation , i am considering signing on please help
