For those who want to know about the physical here some of it goes.
Pushups depending on age you will do 17 - 22 for most applying for Operator Assistant for Halliburton.
Situps again age you will do 39 in the bracket im in 30-38
And a breathalyzer and drug test as usual.
Well just thought i would add that; since I hadn't done a situp in a while. I made it though lol...
Leg raises and some flexibility test.
I do pushups on the regular 20 a night so I was good for my bracket. I think the 29 and bellow have to do 22 pushups.
Now for some Alley and Offtrack parking drills all this week and next week and then Ill feel for sure about my test.
Great jobs in Texas

The more I read these threads, the more I realise how lucky I got lol
All I had to do was a drug test and a Doctor's physical....blood pressure check etc etc. then I was off to the races. -
Is there a company in texas that i can make 1500 to 2000 a week take home hauling crude i dont care about the hours if so what are the names?
-
I'm not exactly what a Crude hauler makes but I believe someone posted some factual check info here some where. I would guess 4-5k a month if not more.
Anyhow, I posted a list of local crude haulers for Midland in my thread.

...if u own a house in so ca, but want to move to tx, you're better off just doing it and accept what u can get. nobody knows what's going to happen, but think we can all agree, housing is not going to go back up anytime soon, especially for so ca area. best of luck to u, no matter what u decide to do...

Here are a few companies that responded to my resume in TX/LA:
Andrews - Oil
Thomas - Oil
MDS - Pneumatic tanker, cement/flyash/barite
Sunoco - Oil
Sentinel - Oil, fuel coke, premium coke, lube oil
There were quite a few others, but these seemed like the best. There is a decent amount of pneumatic tanker jobs down here which is what I did for a couple years before I moved south.
PS
I also just found out that Illinois DOT sent me two permanent employment offers a week after I moved, they were supposed to do their hiring in May and I just couldn't wait any longer. Great job though, I worked for them the last two winters plowing roads. -
Thanks Svoray just read the post it was a good one and i just got out of hauling fuel for seven years it can be a pain but the money is good

Do you guys working west Texas have a feeling for the hiring between now and first of 2012? Or will it slow and pickup into January? It looks like maybe a cold weather exodus from ND.
