Sorry if this seems over posted. Just looking for some info on decent companies to lease my truck on with and pull a flatbed for them. I live in Indiana and have pulled covered wagons. I bought a trailer and the frame is cracked to where its not worth fixing. So now I must go pull for a company which isn't bad as long as I can get a decent one to pull for. I was pulling for a small outfit and pulling my own trailer the down fall with them is they do not have trailers. I need to be home on the weekends. Any info would be great. Thanks for the help.

Check out American Transport Inc. http://www.transportinvestments.com/signup.php This is an all o/o company and they do have some trailers that you can lease. Definitely something to check out if you can get in. You are best off aligning yourself with an agent but there is also a loadboard you can work off of. This is like a landstar deal, YOU are in charge of your own destiny. They pay on time (every load) . Worthy of checking out and endorsed by OOIDAbullhaulerswife Thanks this.

First off what part of Indiana do you live in? Secondly how old is your truck? Some companies are getting more strict with tractor ages.
OOIDA endorses ATI? WOW! Maybe I'm thinking of another ATI. -
Thanks money maker.. Appreciate the help. I have been reading some posts on here about Landstar and CRST. Other than these two not a whole lot of info about owner op pulling for a company. I will check into American Transport. ThanksMommas_money_maker Thanks this.

check with Kaplan trucking based in OH, but have agents & freight all over.

Crawfordsville area then.
Since you have to lease a trailer your hands are kinda tied with good carriers. PGT used to be ok, don't know about anymore. You can lease a trailer from them. If you can get your own trailer look into Besl Transfer. -
Mercer is supposed to offer flatbed trailers on lease purchase deals.
