Actually that was a disposal site that got hit and looked like all of it burned. Near Boyd. I'll bet you scooted off there.... Lol

 

I have been told that oil field usually slows around this time due to budgets,etc. Maybe not this go round though.

Are you leaving Midland area for Dallas?

 

Lucky are you still working for that company still?

 

The wife and I are flirting with the idea of making a permanent move to Dallas but in the mean time we do maintain a small apartment in Dallas. We're actually gearing up to head that way for most of the remaining year.

 

Got a hired heading to Midland soon.

 

Who did you go with?

i finished up orientation today. we are going to go over a few things in the morning like the blower and stuff on the trailer. then we will follow another driver for a couple a days to learn how it's done. i'm happy i found a company that uses sleeper trucks, that makes things a little easier. i will keep everybody posted. as i said earlier, there are LOT'S of driving jobs down here!

 

Well finally made the move from GA to TX. So now going out to put in the applications. I know from reading this thread that I should be able to get a job, but till then it's a bit stressfull. So lets see gets to hire me. LOL

 

plater1.....have you spent any time looking for housing? They might get a few more of those driver jobs filled with a bump in pay
