I think if they are over 10 years old you can.

Your not going to get hired by a major company. One is bad, but doable after 3-5 years, 2 is almost, if not, impossible. 3 isn't even worth filling out an app. The only folks that will hire you are going to be small outfits.
oldnewdriver63 and Wargames Thank this. -
Hey-How are you?I can sure think of other things i'd rather tell a company.Though you don't know until you try.See what's public info and go from there. You only need the right company to say ok.Take care.Brian

i would just call some recruiters and ask before you spend time and money.

How about after I get a few years exp with a small company?

I think you have a good chance, on application just list the last one you had. i had simular situation last one was 1980 never had problem getting otr job, as long as last one was over 10 yrs, like as stated give it a try nothing to loose but some of your time! hope everything works out for you,

That doesn't matter. One DUI is enough to end a OTR career for at least 5 years. 3 shows a habitual offender, regardless of how old they are. You may have cleaned up your act since then, but insurance companies don't see it that way. Your best bet is to stay with the local outfit.Skunk_Truck_2590 Thanks this.

Nope. I recruited for 16 different major companies for a brief, unglamorous time, and not one would touch 2 DUI's much less three. The advantage you have is they are older. The two 30 years ago would look a heck of a lot better if it weren't for the one 10 years later. It's all about liability. If you were to go off the wagon again, but this time kill someone in a wreck while in the semi, the PI attorney's would literally own whatever trucking company hired you. It's not worth the risk for the big guys.THBatMan8 Thanks this.

Biggest obstacle is getting into Canada They see DUI's as felonies and you have to prove you are rehabilitated and get a local to represent you to get a pardon. Not cheap or easy and that may prove difficult with 3....
