there are several apartment complexes in the area. i just have not had the time to visit them. there are a few on craigslist and in the local renters guide. i will get a chance in a few days to look at a few. i will post up some names if they have apartments open.

Finding a job is one thing, and finding a home is another.

I would ask your company and see if they know or have something set up for workers.

Wow, the third place I applied at is going to hire me, I think. They already did my background, safety certifications and I'm training so it looks pretty darn good so far. I'm going to be hauling crude with a new and very small outfit, but the experience will be great.

So I'm here in Texas and been applying at some of the places around Dallas, but it doesn't seem to be going anywhere. I'm thinking of heading either south towards Victoria and Corpus Christie or the Midlands, Odessa area. Which area would be best for a new school graduate with CDL to go to and get hired quickly ?

    Thanks for the help.

Nope don't mind at all, that's what I'm here for. Since I'm here on borrowed money, I want to get something going as quick as possible to get money coming in.

    Thanks
