Looking into a driving job pulling a tanker filled with hog guts. Can some one tell me the loading/unloading process for such cargo?

    Thanks,

    Jeff

Usually the tank lifts up and dumps all the contents into a big pit at the refinery. I'm assuming this is where they're going. If not then I have no idea.

Odds are once you get to the plant, you hook up your hoses and pump the guts out. The question is that do you use a PTO pump on your truck or one at the plant.

You may hook an air hose to the tank and "blow the guts out of it". Yeah, that'd work better than a pump (moving parts), or, gravity (slow).

25 psi of pressure, and a 3" outlet, will send the hog guts a flyin'. :yes2557:

Yuk! I'd keep looking for a better job.
