Since when have they been using Webcams in the company trucks? Is this a random thing they are doing?

The comment made by The Last Rebel ( I doubt that) to Cheryl regarding she is lying on her post. Then said that maybe her husband is giving half his pay to lot lizards is uncalled for and disrespectful. Sounds to me like he is making false stat:biggrin_25513:ements that he does not know is true or not himself!!!

...you're correct, however a lesson for all of us, "...1 quote does not a company's rep make...", so while I appreciate hearing from everyone, i don't put to much faith into anything unless i see multiple posts saying similar things

I will tell you this...I don't have a cam in my truck....Like I said before they are few and far between usually in trucks that have problem drivers (no offense to anyone I am not judging you I am going by what I have been told by friends in the know)...I have only so far seen 1 or 2 trucks with cams...they are extremely rare... and I think most of those are throwbacks to when the company was trying to find otherways to save money and abandoned the practice...cause none of the new trucks have them...

IDK Meltom , I gave Roehl my all. An incident I had in January to where I did some damage to a dock was one of the reasons they said they put the cam in my tk. what was hardest on me is that I worked 7/7 and my partner had to deal with it too. they told him that they were putting the cams in all the 7/7 fleet but later found it was because of me. The cam upset him alot too. we both felt unnerved and violated. I told them in my resignation letter to take it out , that my partner didn't need to suffer for my sins. My partner called me back a week later and they did take it out so I appreciate Roehl doing that. Personally I think some health issues I had last fall to where I laid out for 3 months was probably another reason the cam was installed . Who knows ?? It's all water underneath the bridge now. Roehl probably gets a break on the insurance also. I was going to resign the day they put it in back in March but my partner and my dispatcher talked me into stayin. In hind sight I wish I would have resigned back in March .The cam just made me nervous and took the joy out of trucking...

You'll be okay Texas Phoenix. If you haven't been called on hard braking and you are accident free you want have to deal with a cam. I think they only have 40 or 50 of them. Was told that the expense of putting one in every tk would cost them too much.

    Very good post!

Making excuses for Roehl's bad behavior, or meaningless generalisms like 'good company' or 'better than most' - fine. A perceptive person can question or dismiss these easily. But the bullying that has gone on from the people flooding in to defend Roehl, from what? A bad review? In the bad review forum?
People deserve to be called out for bullying, or deserve to be bullied themselves.

Their automatic transmission fleet tells me that they hire a lot of school boys

You obviously don't know what you're talking about. The only Roehl trucks that have auto shifts are trucks from the Blume Trucking buyout. Those trucks are blue.

And all the blue trucks are being sold off over the next few months.
