I found a few post for this company, but I wanted something a little more recent. Does anyone drive for this company. How is the pay and miles. I am graduating from Smokey Mountain Trucking soon and need a good starting company. I am wanting a backup in case Crete retracts their pre-hire offer.
I am in Knoxville, TN so I would be working out of their Alcoa, TN Terminal which is like 20 mins away.

My uncle is the terminal manager at a different location. I almost went and drove for them last year. He said if youre gonna do it, go flatbed. The pay was like 7cpm more.

I just talked to a recruiter from Fraley and Schilling today. Very pleasant in dealing with him. He says the pay is .35cpm loaded and unloaded. Hometime is almost every weekend. I'm in Baltimore. I also just read an article on their site about opening a 110,000 sqft warehouse and having customers down in Orangeburg,SC. Their goal is to have 50 trucks running that area by 2013. Apparently the steel business is booming. Think I'll give it a try. Good luck all.

It is a min of 2 years experience OR 1 year experience and a trucking school graduate.
