CTL-Tanker or Schneider Tanker School

    Greetings Everyone,

    I have the opportunity to go to either of these schools for tanker training and have read alot about scheneider but little if anything on CTL.
    Would someone fill me in with any insight into the CTL tanker training program and any comparison to the pumpkin company. I am a recent graduate and fully endorsed including hazmat and twic.

    I don't have any firsthand experience with either, but I have worked for CCC which is within the Comcar family of companies. I liked working there and have entertained the idea of going back but anything within Comcar has historically paid very low, not starving wages, but it's not difficult to find better pay.

    Schneiders pay, I believe, is a little better. Other than that I can't help you on them

    CTL has quite a few new trucks, which are automatics and more roomy then what you'll get with Schneider, they're puked out though at around 62 mph.

    I would check in to the hometime policies of both companies, I know Schneider advertises here in PA for 6 days off per month, I don't know how the hometime at CTL works. I was home every weekend with CCC, but CTL runs chemical tanks all over the place unlike when I was with CCC I only ran the southeast.
