Hello, I am a smoker that can't stank stale smoke. I have an ozone generator that plugs into cigarette lighter socket and people can't believe I smoke in the truck because there is no odor. I also have a large ozone generator that runs on house current that I will stick in the truck on occasion.

I cleaned my truck with ammonia. Just mix it with water and wipe everything.Yes, it stinks when you clean it, but than is clean and smells disapear fast. Thats only cleaner I use to clean cigarette smoke on anything. When I bought my heavily smoked in house, I accidently used an ammonia and I was surprised with results, Since than I use it regulary.

Keep the windows and sleeper vents open as much as possible also. Some good fresh air flowing through the cab will help more than you think.

Put the air on recirculate and spray Ozium down where the air intake is, also use some Lysol also. I had a tour bus with 12 people smoking on it, I would wipe everything down and spray Ozium in the air system and you couldn't tell anyone smoked in there.

    Also, CLEAN the carpet.

Dryer sheets will leave a film on your windows.

I recently bought a used pick-up and I asked the dealer if the last owner smoked. (it was not over powering, but it was noticable.)They of course told me no. It has been 4 months now and I have used everything under the sun to remove that smell with no results. It is not as bad now, but you can still smell it especially when it rains.....not sure why.

AMMONIA.......Windows open when possible, clean everywhere, under the bunk, headliner, everything. Shampoo the seats and any cloth fabric, mattress outside if home for the weekend.

I had to drive truck with open windows for 3 mounth till smell dissapeared. I got Schnider truck.... after smoker...

IMO - I consider driver smoker potentially dangerouse. This summer I saw truck fire twice. Both were related with cigarett drop in window and sucked with air stream under trailer tint. The last time driver had only to pull fifth wheel lock lever and drive trucktor away from trailer... After that I saw frame on road.... no tint, no roof, no tires, no aluminuum bords and rims..

And one more scare video from distant truck stop....

Open a can of coffee and put control on Recirc, Place coffee beside the air intake(normally under dash passenger side) let truck idle and Put the heat on high for 4-5 hours. Many used car dealers do this to get smoke smell out.
