While on the subject of drug test. If you shave your head all the way bald were would they need to get hair from? Would you have to wait until you grow a little hair then go back to take test? Wow for me that may take along time I'm already mostly bald but I save the rest all the way off for the summer to keep my head cool.
First of all I am clean as they come. But sometime we get random DOT drug test once a year. I just have to pee in a cup but if they wanted a hair sample from my head I'm screwed. That means waiting unpaid up to days to 45 to grow a little hair. My hair grows very slow I have not paid for a hair cut in almost 15 years it only grows about an inch all winter.

 

That's not the only place to get hair from. I don't think anyone said it must be a sample from the head..

turbo,that story sounds just like mcelroy trucking.They preach safty,safty,and that they are such a christian company........bull ####,i was on duty for 84 hours in a 5 day period my first week of training.I didnt go back my second,im driving regional now out of Atlanta and love it.Good luck to you,there are good companies out there.

 

Well newflash driver their are tons of drivers out there still using so either u can choice too drive safe an not recognize that fact or u can do what ever u want with it. I myself agree with the company deciding the issue of drug testing they are liable if anything happens u knw the rest. So if somebody is ready to move past that lifestyle I would commend them if they don't then eventually they will suffer the consequences an yes I wood agree that they prolly should not choice too be in the driving industry

I've got a better guess, how old and big are you Eaton18?? If you qualify as obese on the BMI chart then TMC won't hire you. Doesn't matter what you look like or what your work or driving history is, they won't hire you and won't tell you why because it's considered discrimination by the federal government.

 

I've seen some pretty big guys get hired there. If your able to do the work than bmi doesn't mean anything. They might test you for sleep Sonia but that's not even a reason to send you home. As long as you have the machine and you pass the physical you're good.

When a hair is used for a drug test, it will come from under your arms, typically. If it is shaved, some companies will automatically DQ you. Just so you know.
