Spotted one of your coins in the truck the other day and asked my instructor if he got it from you. Guess you guys crossed paths in Laurinburg while you were getting your new truck. Told him about the deer and how it would suck to get a new truck and have it messed up so soon. Its been going good over here, no bad luck or electrical/emp problems to report due to having the coin in the truck as others have mentioned![]()

John...aka sewerman schooled me in the fine art of mpg!sewerman Thanks this. -
Is your trainer Guy? -
Thanks for the info Jim, I will take a look into it and see what its all about. I did not ask specifics because you mentioned earlier explaining it to them and figure it falls under the 2 things you dont talk about in the truck due to the possible friction it can cause (politics and religion). And yes my instructor is Guy, we get along great and it makes the experience all the better when not at odds with the person in the other seat

I have run into him a couple of times and he has always been very helpful.
We spent alot of time together while we were both down in Laurinburg. I do not think you could ask for a better trainer. Tell him I said hello! -
Will do! Sitting at the motel resetting until tomorrow morning then headed for a place I cant recall the name of but its just north of charleston. Picked up from charter steel yesterday after dropping off at presrite from ft smith and getting the preplan cancelled from the port cuz the ship was late. I have been doing most everything from day one and learning the ropes on things that I am unclear on (everything now with no intervention thats why im suprised I cant remember the name of the consignee even after writing it in the notepad and hearing it about 10 times talking with other mavericks... Its an odd name too lol). While his style may not work with everyone it works great for me and is likely the reason things are progressing the way they are.
-
Just to be clear when I say no intervention it means I am deciding how to do something (routing, securement etc) and interacting with the personnel and paperwork and driving not that he just sits there, obviously he knows how to do things at a faster pace or knows a better route than me so once it is decided how something is getting done hes doing stuff too. Dont want that wording coming across wrong
-
I knew what you meant, because we discussed how he goes about doing the training. It is something I am considering eventually.
Have a great evening!ravister Thanks this. -
