Unpaid leave for a week for hitting a pole?

I would of told that driver if he wanted me to move to "SHOVE IT" !!!

 

Hit the pole much harder than s bump or scrape.....
Lucky to have a job. The scrape paint is one thing....
to disable a truck is another!

 

try that when your not parked properly and see how fast i can get a tow truck to move you for me

I had a driver yesterday in Kansas City, MO at the J he was 15 FEET to far back into my spot so i couldnt back all the way in. He was in the sleeper watchin tv so i asked him to move up, and he said to go F### myself...... Bad choice on his part. I quick 30 sec call to the fuel desk and the manager was banging on his truck gave him 2 minutes to move or he was having it towed.

Well he may of had a poor choice of words, but. Why did you not just find another spot..
Some times the total length of a unit might take up more than just one section..

Me even when I'm stacked up, I'm 105' long. So I do take up more than just the one so called spot. You tell me to move up, I just give you a look and say look how long I am..

 

thats completely differant, oversize drivers need more room, while it still sucks they have to take up 2 or more spots they need to park too.

But this guy was in a 379 short hood, small bunk, short wheelbase with a 53". His combination was no longer then mine was and the front of his truck was 15 feet further back then the other trucks .


And i didnt pick another spot because that J sucks and is always full, it was the only open spot. No curb space at that J either to sit and wait for a spot to open.

It's people like that that ruin this industry and give truckers a bad name. What a jerk!

 

Man he sure had an itty-bitty trailer to be taking up that much room. Fifty three inches????

Yeah, I know AT, I was born a smart arse & I'll likely die being one as well.

First of all YOU wouldn't of caught me parked incorrectly. Second, if Im sleeping and you wake me up to tell me to move, your going to end up calling law enforcement by the time Im done with you.
