I broke my winder, and forgot to reweld it on home time, then had to roll 11 in the rain, I stopped in my shop and rewelded the winder before I even went in the house last time home.

I like the idea of a forearm workout. Ill have 13 straps to hand wind tomorrow morning, and it is supposed to rain. I was going to be a sissy but this dammed Pilot was out of strap winders! lol.
I had a nice easy day going today until I blew out a brake chamber on I76. I stopped at the first rest stop in Pa and everything was fine till qabout 2 miles down the road after I grabbed coffee. All of a sudden air started to hiss out the trailer supply valve. I pulled over and called maintenance. They walked me through how to back off the slack adjusted and pinch off the airline. Thankfully I had visegrips in my toolbox.
All in all it wasnt bad. Had to go like 10 miles out of the way and they took all but a half an hour to fix it and get me rolling. Whole ordeal added like 2 hours to my day. Hopefully this will be all that goes wrong.
I am going to leave here around 3am and get through D.C. before traffic builds up. I called my customer and got no answer yesterday and today. Message said to call 24hrs before. Hopefully they will be there early because I will. lol. Oh well, at least I am on the east coast and set up to head home for a few days on Wednesday. Hopefully I get something that finished me up really early Wednesday.
Stay safe all!!! -
Hi Shotsjc, I'm from the Albany, NY area myself. I'm a newbie coming out of school, Roehl seems to be a decent company from what i gathered. Living in the Albany area yourself, what seems to be the lowdown with them out of this area? How often can you get home? How many miles can you avg a wk? Do they keep you stuck in the NE a lot or can you get out west if you like? Us Express also looks interesting, but i don't know what to expect with them out of this area either.

Hey hey. Roehl has been awsome so far. Doing close to 3000 miles a week so far. Been running as far west as Iowa and Minnesota all the way to Texas and every state east. Roehl doesn't want to send us over the rocky mts till ya have some experience. As my trainer said as we passed a us express truck...heyy nice truck, do ya squat to pee? LOL that was because they have automatics. Lol. Roehl was my choice and I researched most.
longtrail34 Thanks this. -
