Don't know yet, I have to call tomorrow and see if I'm going on the 7th or the 14th. Cheryl said she's waiting on a guy in front of me to call her back. He has till tomorrow at 9am to call her. So if he don't get the Ellenwood spot, I'll get it. If he does, well then I'll be going on the 14th. Im very ready to get started with Roehl. You have no idea.

As for missing the SO.
No. Let me enlighten you to what they did, this is funny.

They paid for the Corrections Academy that got me my certification, I signed a contract to work for them for two years seeing as they paid me while I went to the academy, and paid for the academy too. So I've put in 14 months. I'm just 10 months short of the two years. So I put in my two weeks notice, everything's going great. I know I'll owe them money for the school and wages that I was paid while attending the academy, no big deal, I'll pay them a monthly payment.

Well, was I wrong. On my last day of work, they decided that they were going to take my whole paycheck. I wouldn't get a dime, plus I would still owe them money. Instead of the payments being pro-rated for the time I worked there after the academy they want me to pay the WHOLE amount back. So, I got on the phone with the Major, I figured I'd ask him before going to the Under-Sheriff or the Sheriff. The Major was surprised the Finance dept. would do that to me. So he called the Attorney for the SO. The Attorney says they'll be required to pay me AT LEAST minimum wage for all hours worked in October. So, I'm looking at a paycheck of about $1200 before taxes. Most likely I'll get about $700......

So anyway, I go today and their going to cut me a check.

How's that for missing the SO lol

 

got my paycheck, its not really a paycheck. It was $1200, i gotta pay them back that by December 2nd. Then I gotta pay back $5k for the Academy.

I went through Orientation. Im officially hired at Roehl Transportation!!!!

I'm very happy with this company and how much they emphasize safety.

They sent me home until this friday or sunday when ill go meet my trainer. I cant wait
