Any idea what I will be driving? I will be through school around the middle of Jan. I will be in the national flatbed fleet. Thanks.

Just thought I would rub it in to the old timers about my new truck...

    2012 Grey International

So long to my old gal... 2005 Freightshaker with 650k+ miles. She will be missed except for the fuel mileage that just recently went into the sh!tter and the Fuel gauge that is broken.
Replaced the fuel filter and it got even worse. Drained at least 12 oz of water and gunk out of it in the last 3 days... must have been some bad diesel who knows.

I'm testing out of RDTC a week from today up here in Marshfield. We train every day on a 2003 Century and I'm practically drooling watching the new '12 Internationals roll by day in and day out. :biggrin_25514: May be unlikely but DO WANT!

when you change the fuel filter, be careful with the brown corrugated paper units, as they can absorb enough fuel from the water separator to let the pump suck a bubble before you can start the engine.

take the little cap off the filter cover and keep the clean drained fuel in a bottle to pour back into it. screw the cover down quickly, and then fill the reservoir up with the clean fuel right away.

else you'll likely sit awhile. i know this from happy experience.

OK so Im back in the shop AGAIN since I have left the house last week....I'm thinking about calling my F.M. and refusing the truck, this is ridiculous. All I heard before I came here was how they care so much about the drivers, because the drivers keep the business going. Well from what I am seeing, Rick is about his pocket and how much he can keep in it. I would like the chance to get to Marshfield and ask him some questions, some of which I think I would get a different answer if I asked his father!

Can I get some help or ideas what I should do about this truck, I have all Maint. records from being in the shop and from what it looks like it should be a new #### truck....

BFH? :biggrin_255: All kidding aside though, make sure you keep calling in and reporting the issue, then drive it till it quits. (unless, of course, it's a DOT issue) If you've told them more than a few times, then I would think the ball is in their court as far as getting it fixed.
