Well I guess they don't care about what there drivers are thinking or talking about issues that seem to bother some of us out here. Guess they don't like the constructive criticism. In my opinion in order for any fleet to become elite. They gotta look from within and ask themselves why are drivers leaving? But I guess like any big company. They just get so big that they forget about the one person that can make or break a company. And that is the truck driver of that company. I have voiced my opinion on here and as well as on that employee hotline on the website. So yea, jbs management go ahead and read my posts on here. Don't care. We all are entitled to our opinions good or bad.

See don't be mad you got bamboozled with that high pay they were giving 45cpm to run this dedicated account.

1st of all you should of known. Normally regional and dedicated NORMALLY get lower pay then OTR. So why are they giving us all this money and we can get home time every weekend? Because you don't get miles!!!!

I wouldn't do that Pilgrims Pride unless I was getting paid salary. That way I can do all those short hauls and waste all that time, and still get same check each week. They actually give some OTR guys salary to do that pilgrims pride. But they even said it wasn't worth it.

So now since you are going to leave and get your chem-tanker job. Reefer haulers are low life's an afraid of soap and water, and can actually spell philosophy with out spell check and without a criminal justice degree.

I do hope you find your dream job so you can take care of your family. Or just a Good Job with good home time and benefits. I do pray that you will get better miles and home time till you find that gig. God bless you bro and have a blessed weekend.

Ok maybe I misunderstood you are you talking about getting to a drop early and having to wait or are you talking about getting to your drop and waiting to be unloaded or loaded on time. He gets to his drop about 1 hour before his appt. time but this wait time is on him. When he gets his pp I guess he does the math on the miles and figures out just how far he has to drive each day, some days he runs like a scalded dog and others not so much depending on del. time. Whatever he is doing seems to work for him.:yes2557:

I don't know if this is an old post but they did send back a bunch of new KW (they had too many sittin) With the new CEO I was told he was going to focus more on the current drivers and get there miles up. I Did 3K last week. Now I'm waiting at Marshalltown,IA for my load to brownsville TX. I don't think any company can beat the health insurance that JBS offers.

Spooner that post was dated Febuary of 2011 and I think he got banned. Well Spooner that is what they say. But you will learn they say a lot of things. But very seldom come through. It's all good for me. I'll second that on the health insurance. Maybe you were there when I came in last night when I picked up my load. Think it was about 5 or 6 Trucks I wasn't counting though. To excited about geting out of marshalltown 2 days early. That never happens lol. Have a safe trip to brownsville bro.

I know fox, just seems like even some of the cheerleader's are less entusiastic!!

The reason I never applied was the time out BECAUSE of where I live in Florida, they were honest with me from the get go, told me that although the company policy was 2 weeks minimum that it would more then likely be three for my area and I wasn't willing to take the chance that it could be worse. I also ask a lot of questions when I talk to recruiters before deciding anything, the cost to both myself and the company is too high to leap without being certain of where you will land AND IF you really want to land there after all...

I know you have both good and bad at every company and no one company can fit all so I try to be very thorough. JBS would be one of my top picks if not for where I live, even with all the naysayers!!
I do wish you all the best of luck with them and will continue to read about both the good and bad, after all, one without the other would be quite boring!!!

    Stay safe!!!

Florida Girl you have to remember tanker man doesn't look @ time the right way. Instead of Saying I got till Tuesday. I can hurry up and get there and get a 34 hr reset and have a fresh 70. He looks at it as wasted time. Yes we have loads with to much time on them sometimes, and what company doesn't. You have to utilize your time to your advantage, and not sit there with a calculator thinking about all the money you are not making. As I said getting there early he may even be able to get the load off, but like he said he is probably going to do a boarder cross dock, and may have to wait for a canada truck to come over. But I sure would of been on my phone on friday to the reciever to see if they could take it off early, and picking up produce. You sometimes do so much waiting. You will need that extra day to get their on time. Some people will complain about anything.

When I was doing it the outlaw way. The only sleep I got was @ the dock. Good time for my log book to catch up with me. So that's why some say. It's just truckin.

Yea looks like I'm going to run like *ell for today then back off some. To equal my driving to time. But yea "seriously" thinks he has all the answer. You'd swear he's been trucking for like 30 years or something. Or a dispatcher forever. No matter what anyone says he always have a answer. Mostly sarcastic. But yea I will tone down my running so I don't have a ton of wait time. Just like I did a run from worthington, minute to laredo, tx. It was a hurry load. Just to get to the receiver and had to wait for over 8 hrs for a mexican truck to get there, so they could off load my truck and put it into the mexican truck. So yea no sense in getting to any place early. Was told before that if I got to place early that I would be paid layover pay. But darrin said that's a no go. So with that why bother? Might as well tone down the driving. But anyways.
