I tallied numbers of years driving from the currently active users section around midnight. Over 200 years combined driver experience. When is there a day to recognize drivers? If there isn't can we start one? Yes, I have time on my hands. I tried to go to the members list, but do not have privileges to do so. I would like to see a total of all users. I've at least had the privilege to read some experienced postings!! :biggrin_255:

    Welcome!
Although I'd like to suggest going to the Welcome Wagon. (noticed you haven't yet) :biggrin_25520:The pit crew does an awesome job of making newbies feel at home. I know I did! My spouse has only had about 3 months now. So let's see, that makes it, 203 years three months! :biggrin_25522:

    & three months! haha

Seriously, if someone counts members years of experience as of a certain date (uh, the date they count) then post it here, we could have a grand total. I think only modegators can actually find out this information, unless every member is on at the time a registered user tries to count. Then with each new member we can add on to the total. Hey I know one of those web page "visitor counters" collecting the information and tallying it for us. :sign7:

Id guestimate its in the thousand's with so much experience and knowledge. Its no wonder with all the time to think and contemplate while driving, That drivers collectively have not solved the problems festering in the industry today.

All they would have to do is run a script that takes the years experience col of the db, and and add them all together. A quick and dirty script would take about 5 minutes to write, but may take a couple of seconds to run. A slight slow down in resources while it ran, but nothing major.

Oh we got all the solutions, but no time to implement any of them because we are all busy hauling zzz up and down the highways. And then posting on Trucker's Report on off duty time.

MAYBE If they'd read what all the forum members have come up with as solutions some of them would have been solved by now! :biggrin_2559:

Sounds like, you would be a good resource if I had an
    Excel question, or the like.

I still think there needs to be a Trucker's Day. Would you all agree with that name, or choose Professional Driver's Day, which would have to include race car drivers, taxi cab drivers etc... (ya think?)

WAKE UP DRIVERS! Don't be making up road time cause ya spent too much time on this forum! :biggrin_25522:Good thing I ain't driving! That's sounds like what I'd be doing right now. ew 2:00 am!
